Every Department issues CCW's
All departments in California issue CCW's unless they have declared (G) under 12050 PC. We have found that even some that have declared 'G' still issue to special people within their cities while referring all others to their County Sheriffs. That violates Salute v Pitchess and the 14th Amendment.
Some departments, such as San Francisco Sheriff do not have a written policy. This a clear violation of Salute v Pitchess. Chiefs and Sheriffs have gotten away with violating your rights for years because no one has called them on it. Now that McDonald is in place many are taking a long look at their policies and practices.
Do not talk yourself out of applying. If you have a valid need, apply. Do not buy into what you see on Internet firearm sites that applying is futile. We have assisted numerous applicants who had put off applying for years only to be issued after contacting us. If you follow our instructions and the law you will enhance your chances of success.
It is up to you to initiate the process and stay with it.
